1) Origin
After a vehicle is successfully acquired and paid for at auction, it takes 5-7 days for the vehicle to be picked up at auction and delivered to a Japanese loading port.
2) Ocean Freight
Once the vehicle been loaded onto a Roll-On Roll-Off (Ro-Ro) ocean carrier, the voyage from Japan to Long Beach, CA is estimated to take between 17-28 days.
3) Customs Clearance
Upon arrival to the Port of Long Beach, the vehicle will be unloaded from the carrier and cleared by customs. This phase will take between 1-3 days.
4) Port Pick-Up & Delivery to Haul Lot
When the vehicle is cleared by customs, it is transferred from the Port of Long Beach to the So-Cal haul lot, where it awaits to be loaded onto the domestic trucking carrier. This phase takes between 1-3 days.
5) Domestic Long Haul
Reservation for transport is made and the vehicle is loaded onto the trucking carrier. Delivery of the vehicle from So-Cal to our client’s address varies on region and is estimated to take between 3 to 16 days.
